What do we do on a Sunday?

Our congregation was established over 40 years ago with a desire to reach the surrounding newly built estates with the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Gospel.

Our aim is still the same. We do this by meeting as a Church family on Sundays at 10am and 630pm to study the Bible, pray, praise and support one another in fellowship. We put a lot of emphasis on friendship fellowship.

We recognise that our worship of God should be reverent and serious as we hear His Word. But we also want to be full of joy and wish to express that to God and each other during the service or afterwards over a cup of tea.

Our music is skilfully led by our musical director, Andy Murray, who leads in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with our small but enthusiastic praise group.

Different people, of all ages, quite often share in worship, whether by reading, praying, singing or testimony.

Through the week in Ballykeel

We want to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul mind and strength. But we also want to love our neighbours as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31). So we aim to see our members live out Gospel lives by being salt and light in our area or wherever God has called them to be.

As a Church we try to support our local community here in Ballykeel as much as we can. We help host community meetings, support the primary school, encourage sport, share in local culture and work with decision makers such as the council, police and government bodies.
